Mecha suit 01 This is an older scetch that I decided to try and flesh out. The thought was to create a heavy look, with what I consider elegant shapes.
Nice one, Scott! I like the suit not being overly complicated. It gives it a stream-lined look. One thing... he needs a WEAPON!!! How about a futuristic polearm (AKA Stargate)? Unless of course you didn't want this guy to be the action-type. But, in looking at the guy's eyes, he looks like he wants to weild a skull-crusher! Great job overall!
A journal of what my experiences and priorities have artistically combined to become. These images represent my declarations as well as my thoughts, and hopefully through this interactive alchemy, we might all improve.
I have been aware of myself as an artist since I was 6 years old. Growing up I discovered Graffiti art and Hip Hop as a culture and made it my own. The counter establishment culture of Hip Hop and Graffiti gave me the confidence in my own vision that I needed to stay an artist. I had my formal training at Columbia College where I achieved my BA in Art and Design with a concentration in Advertising. I am now an artist and animator and have been working commercially for 8 years. In all these years of experience as an artist I have aspired toward a clarity of vision and a conciseness in communication with my viewer.
